Individual therapy is a space to become more curious about yourself. People often come to therapy because they’re feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, grieving, stuck in painful relationship patterns, or simply wondering why the same struggles keep resurfacing. Together, we’ll explore not only what’s happening in your life today, but also the deeper emotional themes and experiences that may be shaping how you think, feel, and relate to others.
A typical session isn’t about me giving advice or telling you what to do. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to speak openly while we pay close attention to your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and recurring patterns. If you need a little help with what to explore, we can work together to figure that out. At times, I may ask questions, notice themes that emerge over time, or gently invite us to stay with something that seems emotionally important. My approach is collaborative and grounded in curiosity, creating space for greater self-understanding and meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you’re navigating loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or a sense that something in your life isn’t working the way you’d hoped, therapy can offer a place to feel heard, think more deeply about your experience, and develop a stronger connection to yourself.
Individual therapy offers a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Together, we’ll make sense of the patterns, relationships, emotions, and experiences that may be leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through the week—it’s to help you develop a deeper understanding of your inner world so that lasting change becomes possible.
